The Welsh 5km Fun Run, Sunday 1st April 2007
It was a sunny but cold Sunday morning at Tredegar House on Sunday 1st April.
The runners turned out in force to raise money for The Joshua Foundations Oz Experience program.
Friends and family came along to support the runners and a great day was had by all.
There were several stalls at the event as well as a BBQ and a bouncy castle.
The youngsters were put through their paces, with a warm up led by the senior fitness instructor from Dylans Heath club in Newport.

They were then off to a flying start with Aled Gamble from Cardiff High coming in first, followed closely by James Buckthought from St Cenydd Comprehensive, who took second and third place went to a young man who was running on behalf of his sister.
In total over £5,000 was raised for the charity.
The Joshua Foundation would like to a say a big thank you to Dylans Heath club for coming along to do the warm up and Marks & Spencers in Pontypridd for donating the food for the charities BBQ.
We look forward to holding the event again next year!
