A resort comprising of a main village development facilitating numerous functions, 30 individual freestanding distinctively Australian family retreats, staff accommodation, a medical centre, service facility, parking space.

The Site

Kooralbyn - Beaudesert Shire, Queensland. 100 acres of well preserved, undulating and natural landscape.Home to the native Black Cockatoo and many other native species. Also, to much of Australia’s native flora. 90min - South of Brisbane. 45min - West of the Gold Coast. Close and accessible to the major theme parks and Queensland coastline. Allowing for day excursions from the resort.

2005 Conservation Work

Two of the Oz Experience teams this year travelled this year to Brisbane. They were the first groups to work on the land acquired by The Joshua Foundation Australia for the Gilgal retreat. They spent most of their time clearing lantana weed from sites where there is a suggested replanting plan for those areas where construction will not be taking place.
