Daerwynno Centre Open Day - June 28th

Sam Griffiths of Ynysybwl and Jess Brown from England have teamed up and will be attempting to climb the equivalent height of Ayers Rock (Uluru) on the Daerwynno climbing boulder in order to raise funds for the Oz Experience.

Daerwynno Centre are holding the open day to help Sam and Jess raise the funding needed for this well deserved cause . Activities on the day will include taster sessions on the climbing boulder Pond dipping, mini beast safaris and environmental arts and crafts sessions will run at intervals throughout the day. For those who wish to stretch their legs there will be some short guided walks in the forest. Amongst the other activites taking place are a welly throwing contest, a bric-a-brac stall and a bouncy castle. The Daerwynno Mini bus will run every hour between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock from the Roberttown Square. There will be lucky programmes on sale throughout the day with a variety of prizes. Refreshments will also be available.
