The Oz Team

The Oz Experience was originally managed and run by Sarah Cornelius but there is now an ‘Oz Team’ who between them are responsible for recruiting and running the Oz Experience from beginning to end.

The team is made up of the following people:

Linda Richards

Linda Richards - Oz Manager

I have worked for The Joshua Foundation since September 2003. I have been involved with the charity since its conception as my youngest son was a friend of Joshua’s. I am based in our office in Cardiff and oversee all the organisation of the Oz Experience.

School Co-ordinators

Alison Stallard

She is school co-ordinator for South East Wales and South West of England and our Family Support Officer. She has worked for the Foundation since March 2004. She is based in the office in Cardiff but spends a proportion of her time in the South West of England visiting her team members and giving talks to schools.

Hannah Bramall

"I’ve been working for The Joshua Foundation since March 2007 but have been involved with the charity since October 2004 where I registered to go on ‘The Oz Experience’ trip in 2006. I had the most fantastic time and really enjoyed the fundraising and wanted to stay involved with the charity.

My main job now is to coordinate all of the school talks and visits all across England and Wales regarding our fundraising project ‘The Oz Experience’. I try and make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible… (even though it never happens that way).

I’m also events coordinator on the Kookaburra Society, which is a group of past Oz Kids who’ve been to Australia and want to keep in touch with each other and the foundation. I organise reunions, dinners and other social events along with some other members of our own Kookaburra committee."

Administrators

Clare Harries – She has worked for the Foundation since September 2004 but had been involved previously as the mother of a child with cancer. Her son has now started school and Clare now does all the administration for the Oz team members. She also deals with all the bookings for our holiday home in Tenby and apartments in Fishguard .
