Why Australia
When establishing an overseas expedition for young people, repeatedly Australia was identified as both a popular location for young people and a place parents felt was safe. It was also a country that complimented our underlying philosophy of “ living life to the full”. Australians are the ambassadors of such a creed and added to that was that it is the centre of advanced conservation work, something which also compliments our work.
We believe that it is in looking after the environment, that the future health of our children lies. The work of CVA, our Australian partners allows young people to actively contribute to making the world a better place. And in turn they make life a better experience for children with terminal cancer.
