The USA Experience

Starting in 2011, teams will travel to the USA in groups of approx 20-30, flying into New York City where they will spend a few days enjoying the local sights and sounds.

After a few days in the city, the groups moves out of NY State where they engage in various projects including “Hole in the Wall Camps” (set up by Paul Newman)..the world’s largest family of camps for children with serious illnesses and life threatening conditions.

Also a possible involvement in restoration projects with Bette Midler's “New York Restoration Programmes”

At the end of these projects, they travel back to NYC where they enjoy a few days of leisure, including addressing a challenge project working with one of the local children’s oncology hospitals.

Each team member must raise a minimum sponsorship of £2000. To assit the individuals and school teams, a regional schools coordinator will liase with you over the period of fundraising.
